This database is a collection of histories compiled by The National Society of the Sons of the Utah Pioneers. This database is being updated to include Volume Two in a series of four volumes and indexes persons with the last names A-LO. The database includes names, dates, and other vital information about the lives of Mormon (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) pioneers who settled in Utah.

The records were compiled using information that was sent to The Sons of the Utah Pioneers. The following statement appears in the introduction to the volumes, "I have only the record and information that was sent to me. If, in reading this record you find an error, I hope you will recognize that when we deal with old records we must accept that there will undoubtedly be errors or differences of opinion. I only had someone's word that it was right. It would have been impossible for me to research every entry."
