Home to over 400 Civil War battlefields, Tennessee was the first Confederate state to be readmitted to the Union following the war. This database is a collection of regimental histories from the state during the war. Each history chronicles the regiment's actions during the war and includes names of commanders and important men. In addition to providing copious histories for these regiments, a memorial roll is included for men who fell in battle.
