Minnesota Cemetery Inscription Index (Eleven Counties)
Listing of over 230,000 persons buried in cemeteries in eleven Minnesota counties
Description
Since being granted statehood in 1858, Minnesota has been home to many people of differing cultural backgrounds and religious sympathies. This database reveals a wealth of information about these state residents. It is an index of cemeteries in Rice, Le Sueur, Scott, Goodhue, Dakota, Steele, Dodge, Blue Earth, Waseca, and Olmstead Counties and contains the names of over 263,000 persons. Researchers will find birth date, death date, name of cemetery and, in some cases, the closest living relative. With such a large amount of information and compiled by John Dalby, this is a valuable addition to the Ancestry.com online library.
